about me

My name is Lubomír Peška, and I currently live and work
in Brno in the Czech Republic.

My specialization is graphics of all kinds, as well as web pages, which I have been creating professionally since 2001.

I'm not a born computer nut; I actually got my first computer
on my grandfather's urging. I started creating web pages thanks to
a book with the humble name “HTML for beginners,” which started me off on my current career.

That career started at the company Keloc NET, where I worked and gathered experience
for 5 years as a webdesigner and coder.

After that, I decided to go to Australia for some adventure and education. There, my friend and I founded a small company together – MINDS & PICTURES. Our main offering was website building.

Since my return to the Czech Republic, I have been working for nationally prominent (and internationally active) company Zoner Software, which develops photo processing software.
I do not develop software with them; instead, I co-develop their promotional graphics and co-administer their website.

In my spare time I enjoy inline skating (freestyle slalom), thai-boxing, paragliding, photography, filming, the joys and sorrows of computers, drawing with a soft pen, playing
the piano, science, inventions, mysteries, different cultures, and traveling.
